EVS – European Voluntary Service
Do you want to live abroad for a while? Discover a new culture, meet new people, learn a new language, and work voluntarily for a non-profit organization? EVS offers young people between the ages of 18 and 30 to help out at different volunteer projects within the European Union for 6 to 12 months.
Through its internet database, you can find all of the existing projects in the social, health, cultural, environmental, and media fields. Once you find an interesting and suitable project, you can apply for it with a CV and a motivation letter. BUT don’t be scared by that; EVS is particularly looking for people without any specific or previous knowledge. As EVS is promoted and funded by the European Union, it is free of charge and your accommodation travel costs, language course, medical insurance, and pocket money for food and everyday life will be provided for you. Here you will find the updated podcast of my work as EVS in Graffiti.
